NSW: Rotary honours anti violence campaigner

SYDNEY, April 12 AAP - Anti-violence campaigner Ken Marslew has been recognised for his
community service, winning Sydney Rotary's Community Service Award.

Mr Marslew founded the Enough is Enough anti-violence movement after the murder of his son
Michael during an armed robbery in 1994. The 400-member organisation is dedicated to reducing
violence and helping victims of violence.

The Rotary Club of Sydney will present the award to Mr Marslew at a lunch in Sydney
tomorrow.

Rotary Club of Sydney president Geoff McIntyre described Mr Marslew as an inspiring and
dedicated campaigner.

"He will be an outstanding ambassador who will assist us to focus public attention on this
exceptional community work," Mr McIntyre said.
